Our Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

The Jax & Bash Foundation for Pets and Their People is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to meeting pets and their people where they are—especially in times of need and crisis. We close systemic gaps by funding service dog access and training, supporting seniors, veterans, trauma survivors, children and individuals with diverse needs to keep their beloved companions, and providing therapeutic programming opportunities for need and healing. We strengthen rescues and shelters with supplies, will operate a pet pantry, and offer hands-on assistance for elderly, disabled, and medically challenged families. We also empower children to help children and college students, creating opportunities for youth to be part of the solution. Whether supporting families like ours navigating financial hardship or those facing temporary medical challenges, our mission is to deliver community-driven solutions that protect, connect, and empower pets and their people through every stage of life.

Vision Statement

We envision a community where no child waits years for a service dog, no senior or veteran has to surrender a beloved companion, and no family is left unsupported during hardship or illness. A world where children can help children, where individuals with diverse needs are empowered, and where regular families have access to resources that keep their pets where they belong..at home. We see a future where rescues never struggle for supplies, therapeutic programs are accessible, and temporary crises do not separate pets from their people. By addressing systemic gaps and uniting community partners, we are building a compassionate safety net that ensures pets and their people are never left behind.
